Although the cottage has old charm and character in abundance, the functional areas have been updated to provide up to date, modern and clean facilities, to further enhance any stay.

The main entrance leads into a large oak beamed sitting room, with an impressive Inglenook fireplace and large wood burning stove.

The sitting area is comfortably furnished, and has a TV, DVD/CD and English Sky TV. There are numerous DVD’s and CD’s available.

There is also an area for books and information if you so require.

At the far end of the room, overlooking the river below, is a kitchen and dining area, with newly fitted kitchen hosting all the required facilities including a dishwasher. Within this area is a comfortable dining table and chairs.

Stairs lead up from this area to the Master suite, with views overlooking the river and beautiful oak ‘A’ framed beams. The Suite has a lovely French double bed, and its own en-suite shower room and toilet, which is modern and clean.

The second bedroom on the ground floor, leading off the sitting room, is very comfortable, with twin beds, and a lovely view of the river. From here, one can access the pool terrace.

Next to this bedroom is a bathroom, with Bath and shower, and a separate toilet.

The third bedroom is entered by way of its own external access, and is spacious and well appointed with views of the river, oak floors, seating area and a double bed. This bedroom also has its on en-suite shower room and toilet which is modern and functional.

Outside this bedroom, there is a terrace, where one can sit and look over the pool area.

The third bedroom works particularly well for friends or couples as it provides its own self contained space when required.

The cottage has plentiful hot water, central heating or electric heating, and a washing machine facility in the cave below.

There is plenty of parking space available; cars can be left in the shade of the vines overhead during hot sunny days.

Surrounding the property, there are numerous area’s to explore, including a woodland area behind the cottage, and numerous terraced gardens immediately surrounding the cottage.

For Alfresco eating, there is a breakfast terrace by the front entrance, where you can enjoy breakfast whilst watching the sun rise up above the hills – the terrace overlooks the river and valley beyond, and is covered over by grape vines.

To the side of the cottage is the pool area, with 8m x 3m oval swimming pool, surrounded by paved terracing, old stone walls and mature gardens.

There is a table and chairs, under a sheltered area, overlooking the river, where one can enjoy socialising long into the warm night.

A barbeque is provided for those wishing to cook outdoors, and there are sunloungers and chairs for those wishing to make the most of the sun.

There are various walks close to the house, one of which is 2 mins walk away from the cottage a provides spectacular view of the river and valley from all perspectives.
